About Hayscastle Farmhouse

Hayscastle Farmhouse is a beautifully renovated old farmhouse near the village of Hayscastle, set round a courtyard with 2 other cottages. Welcoming, comfortable and deceptively spacious, it is perfect for family reunions or friends to gather. The fitted kitchen with large farmhouse table is ideal for leisurely meals together, while the spacious lounge is a wonderful place to relax, and the second sitting room gives added space. A large lawn and enclosed play area surround the house, where you can enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer's evening and gives space for children to play, while both old and young will enjoy the many extra facilities - the farm walk which includes the lakeside and river banks, duck pond, badger setts, calves and outstanding scenery. Although on a working farm, Hayscastle Farmhouse is in a very peaceful location, a good walk along the lanes will take you to the local pub which serves good food and beers.

Tucked away, this rural area abounds in footpaths to explore, yet it is within easy reach of the magnificent beaches along St Brides Bay, the long sandy beach at Newgale is popular for watersports and families can enjoy refreshments at the beachside cafes and pub, Broad Haven is also popular with families and watersports enthusiasts with a hire shop for equipment or walk over the headland to little Haven with its sheltered cove and bustling village. A horse ride along Nolton beach should not be missed and is sure to be a highlight of any holiday. The bustling market town of Haverfordwest is only a short drive away and enjoys a pretty riverside location with good facilities, as well as a popular farmers market.

Families and friends are sure to enjoy this farmhouse holiday, leaving them with lovely memories to cherish.

Care needed, as there are some unfenced drops in garden.

The farmhouse has ample car parking directly outside the front and back door with one step up onto the concrete path surrounding the property. The front door is reached by one small step leading to a large entrance hall. The back door has small threshold leading into garage, but access may be obtained on same level through the large up and over garage door, with one step up into small hallway at back of property. Ground floor facilities all on same level include utility room with sink and separate WC, large kitchen with extensive work-tops and low level Aga double-oven, two lounges. Both lounges have natural and artificial lighting with 2 TV/videos operated by remote control. The larger lounge has a patio door with one small step down to concrete patio outside with garden furniture, where same level access can be gained onto extremely large lawn. Upstairs can be reached by normal straight staircase. Guests may be met on arrival by owner, who can assist with luggage. Guide dogs welcome. NB The owner is in the throes of upgrading the fishery to accommodate disabled fishermen with improved access to pathways and lodge.

Another brilliant year in the farmhouse, the kids have loved all the space to run around in and we all enjoyed the garden (and the escaping cow!) lots of beach visits and very wet and sandy kids-brilliant! Thanks again we will see you next year

a wonderful week spent as a big family.Saying goodbye to one member and greeting a new one.The children and adults love Marloes beach and the hills, We had a glorious week of weather as well . A lovely family table around which we shared food, chat and laughter and more than one games evening.Thank you for letting us stay , we found the entrance to the secret room but couldnt get in, We enjoyed the garden and surrounding countryside, The garden was lovely to play in and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in.I throughly enjoyed the week
